Arts License Plate Grants
Grants for Arts Education & Outreach to Underserved Areas of the Community
The Arts Council provides funding to Martin County non-profit organizations through the License Plate Grant Program in an effort to broaden its support for artistic and cultural program and projects. The License Plate Grant program is focused on providing support for arts education programs and outreach to underserved areas of our community.
Programs based in arts education must be new or expanded programs to educate residents of all ages. Specific educational goals must be outlined in the application and summarized in the final report.
For programs addressing outreach to underserved areas of the community, the program must demonstrate an ability to reach a segment of the community which with otherwise go without access to the specific cultural activity. Specifics must be included in the application that show how the organization will reach and engage the underserved population with results noted in the final report.
