As a painter I find inspiration in almost anything I see or feel. Whether it's nature, people, faces, interesting shapes, colors or moods. My travels and Latvian heritage have influenced greatly my paintings. I love the process of creation and discovering the unknown as I paint. The association of realism has been a focus in my work, but I prefer diverse interpretations, including impressionism and abstract.
