MartinArts invites artists to apply to be an exhibitor at the 38th Annual ArtsFest Stuart. A hometown celebration of arts and culture, the 2-day event provides the area with exceptional fine art and fine craft exhibitors, culinary arts, hands-on activities for the family, and a variety of live musical and theatrical performances. Since its inception in 1988, ArtsFest has grown to become one of the most cherished and well-attended community events on the Treasure Coast. It draws arts patrons, collectors, residents, and visitors to the City of Stuart during Florida's busy winter season. The event has received consistent recognition as a Southeast Tourism Society "Top 20 Event" every year since 2016, further highlighting its significance and appeal.

This is a call to artists residing in Martin County, St. Lucie County, Indian River County, Okeechobee County and Palm Beach County. The contest is open to all artists (professional, emerging and hobbyist) 18 years of age and older. Contest runs through Saturday, November 30th, 2024. Four winners will be announced on Wednesday, December 4th on our social media pages and website. The art will be digitally framed, printed on perforated vinyl decals, and displayed on our storefront windows throughout 2025. A Juried Contemporary Clay Exhibit hosted by Indian River Clay
All artists working in clay are eligible to enter. All entries are welcome.
This exhibition will highlight contemporary ceramic artwork and the artists working in this diversified medium. The show is open to functional, sculptural, decorative and experimental pieces that feature clay as the primary material.Indian River Clay is a 501C3 non-profit studio that has 60 working potters and a waiting list of over 100. We have fostered interest in and curiosity about ceramic art through our Outreach Programs and classes, and in turn our community has responded in resounding ways to support us. Bringing a high quality clay art exhibition to the area for the third year in a row has created much excitement and anticipation.

Part of the mission of the Martin County Art in Public Places program (AIPP) is to create a high-quality public realm in a manner that is visible and accessible to the public. The Martin Murals program is the vehicle that can inspire artists to design and paint murals on public and private properties throughout Martin County. The National Endowment for the Arts says it best “Creative placemaking animates public and private spaces, rejuvenates structures and streetscapes, improves local business viability and public safety, and brings diverse people together to celebrate, inspire, and be inspired.” Public art is also tied to positive tourism goals, instills a sense of civic pride, boosts economic growth, and inspires investment in our community.
To encourage public/private partnerships, the maximum funding amount through AIPP is $7,500 per project.

Maximum Awards: $7,500 / $15,000
The South Florida Cultural Consortium Grant Program offers one of the largest regional, government-sponsored artists' grants in the United States, awarding $15,000 and $7,500 grants to resident visual and media artists from the counties of Broward, Martin, Miami-Dade, Monroe, and Palm Beach. Since it was established in 1988, the Consortium has awarded over to $4 million in grants to over 300 artists. In addition to receiving the grant, the artists take part in an exhibition hosted and organized by a visual arts institution in one of the five counties, and since 2019, artworks by Miami-Dade based artists are acquired and accessioned for the Art in Public Places Collection. -

Spend three weeks developing your work with the personal support and mentorship of internationally renowned Masters in visual arts, music composition, literature, and choreography. Participation is limited to 8 people for each Master Artist. -
