Emma Floyd

Throughout my time in high school I have participated in every show Martin County High School has put on.  Doing so has let me experience more than just acting.  This has involved doing choreography, hanging lights, pulling props, finding costumes, and painting sets.  Most recently I was involved in MCHS’s production of “Buys and Dolls” playing Adelaide, a role I had always wanted to play.”  Last year Emma had to take over a major role two days before a one-act competition and did so learning fast.  She does not know exactly what she will major in during college, but she will minor in musical theatre.  She says: “I want theatre to always be a part of my life, whether that is teaching, performing, or in the audience as a theatre watcher.
