In May of 2021, I submitted a piece called “The Forgotten Children” to the Marvin S. Cone 35th Annual High School Juried Show.  The piece presents a group of children in black and white, with their faces blacked out completely. It was centered on the children who are domestically and sexually abused by their families and other people that they trust. My piece won a Purchase Award as well as receiving an honorable mention.”  She is an AP Art student at Jensen Beach High School.  Her art placed at the Martin County Fair, and Reflection, and she was a finalist for the 2020 Lemur Festival Juried Art Exhibition.  In school she has been an officer of the National Art Honors Society, member of the art club, and officer in Key Club, serving as president this year.  After high school she wants to work as a pediatric nurse pursuing art to inspire children and relieve their stress.
