For me, dance is a gift that grows deeper in purpose. I fell in love with dance at age 5. After my parents divorced my life began to fall apart. I didn’t dance for 3 years. After that our family came to know Christ and a couple of years later, I was ready to dance again. I knew God would make a way and I was offered a scholarship. Knowing that I could connect with an audience on a deeper level through movement is when dance shifted from an outlet to my purpose.” Rebecca attends Clark Advanced Learning Center. She wants to continue teaching at Dance Academy of Stuart as well as train in ballet, contemporary dance, and acrobatics. If she goes to college, she would like to get degrees in choreography and Christian theology, and then travel the world sharing the Gospel through teaching and performing dance.
