Bobbie’s memoir of her refugee assistance work at the Qatrom Refugee Camp in Korce, Albania is a moving story of a woman called to service and the mentoring of people fleeing the devastation of war and genocide.  It is especially timely.  Reading it is like being in Ukraine.  The same senseless killing, the same ancient hatreds, all driven by greed for power and control.  Bobbie has worked overseas in the humanitarian field since 1991, in Africa, Eastern Europe, and Guatemala, with particular attention to village men and women in Africa.  Here she is assisting resettled refugee and immigrant women.
