Sunset Concerts at the Gallery announces “Summerfest 2021”
Taking place at the Gallery on the second Tuesday of June, July and August at 5 PM.
Hosted by Founder and Foundation Board Chair, Dr. Marie Jureit-Beamish, Professor Emerita of Music from Principia College. All concerts will welcome in-person and live-streamed audiences.
Continuing the great tradition of our highly successful Sunset Concerts at the Gallery, we are pleased to announce that we will present three concerts during the months of June, July and August showcasing outstanding talent of the Treasure Coast.
Tuesday, June 8 at 5 PM: “Award-winning College Musicians”Pianist Aubrey Flink (senior at Stetson University) and violinist Brooke Gunter (sophomore at Carnegie Mellon University). Both will share music from their end-of-year concerts, including the effervescent Bach E Major Sonata for Violin, the lyrical Brahms Sonata in A Major for Violin, and the powerful Chopin Polonaise No. 1. Joined at the piano by Dr. Marie Jureit-Beamish.
Included in this concert celebrating our youthful musicians will be new outstanding performers flutist Kara Ravaschieri (14), pianists Lucas Huang (12), Jimmy Baumgartner (10), and Nathan Shear (9). Also on the program is celebrated high school violinist Ava Gunter performing Beethoven.
Tuesday, August 10 at 5 PM: “The Virtuoso Winds”
Award-winning flutist Adriana Varn and the Bracken sisters, oboist Abby Bracken and clarinetist Sophie Bracken, will “blow you away” with their riveting, virtuoso performances. All three have been members of the Treasure Coast Youth Symphony and have performed in our area many times over the years.

Debuting in the of Fall 2015, with support from Marie Jureit-Beamish, Sunset Concerts at the Gallery features Martin County’s most talented musicians in a unique and intimate setting that combines the fine and performing arts in one space.
