Painted pleinair at the Possum Long Audubon House on Palm Beach Road. A beautiful place overlooking a large lake rimmed by Cypress and Royal Poincianas. The sun was casting shadows from the white bird of paradise, a neat pattern.
About the Artist
I am an artist living and working in Stuart Fl. for the past 35 years. Born and raised in Florida, the jungle landscape is ingrained and I love to see it come alive on my canvas.
In my work I strive to show the spirit of my home, both above and below the water.
Pleinair allows me to paint how I see it, bright and mysterious, always fluid and changing.
