What are the MartinArts Awards?
Since 2003, the MartinArts Awards have been the premier celebration of artistic, voluntary, and philanthropic achievement in Martin County. Often called the “Marties,” this signature event shines a spotlight on the individuals and organizations whose creativity, leadership, and generosity inspire a thriving arts community.
Who is recognized at the MartinArts Awards?
The MartinArts Awards honor excellence in two categories:
Honorary Awards – Chosen by the MartinArts Board of Directors, these awards recognize a legacy of commitment to leadership, arts education, philanthropy, and lifetime achievement.
Nominated Awards – Presented in Professional Artist and Student Artist (high school seniors only) categories across the visual, performing, and literary arts. Recipients are celebrated for artistic excellence, civic responsibility, and leadership that enhances quality of life through the arts.
Together, these awards spotlight groundbreaking artists, philanthropists, volunteers, and leaders who inspire passion for the arts across Martin County.
