Court House Cultural Center Welcome & Information: Be a Docent
Docents act as hosts and greet visitors at the Cultural Center Galleries for the year-round exhibits. Docents also help to set up for receptions and events, and may be trained as guides for group tours.

Events & Public Awareness:
ArtsFest
A two-day celebration of the arts held in historic downtown Stuart. Volunteers are needed for the steering committee which plans the event. Volunteers are also needed the day of the event and have a host of responsibilities from serving as an ambassador for artists & patrons to ticket selling.

MartinArts Awards
Held for the first time in November 2003, this event showcases and honors artists, community leaders, and businesses who are responsible for the success of the arts in our community. Committee members solicit sponsorship, assist with the nomination and selection process, video production, coordinate the "stage show", and have other duties related to producing this special event.
Art in Education:
Plein Air Arts Day
High School Junior and Senior art students are invited to participate in an “Plein Air Arts Day”. Students are immersed in their mediums for approximately 5 hours under some of Martin County’s most talented artists. Volunteers are needed to support Arts Day. Responsibilities for those volunteers are serving as assistants to the instructors and helping with registration and delivery of beverages and lunch.
High School Juried Art Show
This annual exhibition features the fine work of local high school students. Volunteers help plan the opening reception, assist with sponsorship, and coordinate with teachers and the school district.
Support Services:
Volunteers are needed in our office to assist with basic functions including filing, data entry, mailing invitations, and other administrative related tasks.
