Arts Service
I am Dr. Faith, a PhD from the University of Chicago, who loves the arts, all of them, and the deep and all-embracing love and goodness that they convey to everyone 24/7/365 throughout infinite time and space. No one is ever selected or unselected to benefit from the arts, or included or excluded from feelings, freely expressed, between the art piece and its observer and listener. Individuality and inclusiveness in appreciation come together in one embracing whole in the great heart of the arts. My seventeen years of living in Hawaii’s diverse and beautiful cultures, and many years of learning from my students, colleagues, and research populations as a professor and researcher in the social sciences and history, have built a foundation rooted in the inherent goodness in our humanist ways of thinking, feeling, and expressing, which it is a joy to learn from and share in the arts and within the arts community.
