Ian Hodges is a student at Martin County High School. His area of specialty is playwriting. He writes, “In October of 2025 a play I wrote entitled Nobody Cares About Death premiered in three countries and across the United States after winning a national contest called “ENOUGH! Plays to End Gun Violence.” Some of the literary influences that help inspire me are Arron Sorkin, the writer behind The West Wing and the play adaptation of To Kill A Mockingbird. I admire how his love for humanity is always clear in his dialogue, and never at the cost of wit or biting political commentary.
