Katharyn (Katy) Johnson
Katharyn is a student at South Fork High School. Her particular interest is sculpture. She says that what inspires her to be creative “is the world around us. Nature always gives me new ideas. I really get into my creative zone when I’m near the water or walking through the woods. The colors, textures, and peacefulness of nature affect how I see the world and what I create. One project that I’m especially proud of is a mural that I helped paint for the ROTC program at my high school. We came up with ideas and designs that represent the values and spirit of the ROTC program.” Katharyn is looking forward to a career in interior design.
