Mallory Goddard
Mallory is a student at Martin County High School. Mallory says, “What inspires me most is the emotional connection that music creates – both with the audience and within myself. Opera, especially, allows me to step into someone else’s story and express feelings that words alone can’t capture. I’m inspired by how music can move people such as bringing them to tears or making them feel joyful. I also find creativity in the details – how a phrase is shaped or how a character’s journey is told through sound. Watching other artists, performing for audiences, and diving into new repertoire constantly remind me why I fell in love with this art form.”
