Mark D' Alessio
Mark is a student at Martin County High School. He says, “My teacher and my classmates have told me that my writings take them out of the classroom and to another setting in their minds, and that this has had a positive impact on them. What inspires me to be creative is when I look at different stories, like horror stories, or just by looking at different images of beautiful scenes of nature. I think to myself, ‘if only I could make my own version.’ If a book I am reading or a show I am watching emotionally affects me I question myself, can I do that to someone too.”
