Olivia Oster

Olivia Oster is a student at Martin County High School. Two of her poems are Reaching for Perfection about teenage girls and the need to feel perfect, and Give, about a time when she gave her all and then realized she had no more to give, with a clear message to readers to not drain themselves for others, but to be real and in the moment. She gets her creativity from the senses, among which are smells, images, music, and touch. One of her favorite ways to start her writing is by describing how something felt, sounded, or looked.
