My art has always focused squarely on those beings that might have been, or might even exist today in some hidden niche of planet Earth. When I see a moment in the life of a mermaid, faerie, tree nymph or other fae folk that begs to be captured, I sketch and I paint. I simply must.
The colors and movement of the flora, fauna, and nature's elements I've discovered in their environs have found their way into many of my paintings, others are portraits.
I've been known to paint on some unorthodox surfaces, like tree trunks and fences, but most of my current work is acrylic on canvas.
