My endeavor to pursue a career as an artist began when I was gifted a set of oil paints and encouraged by my husband. As a naturally curious native Floridian, I am inspired by all that surrounds us - from frogs to vultures, antique cars to pet portraits, even the timeless works of the Masters - I will never cease to be amazed and inspired by the beauty we have been gifted by God. I believe in my heart that every creature is worthy of a portrait, and my work attempts to capture them in a way that brings forth their unique spirit and personality, helping the viewer to see the subject in a new and different light.
