Carrie Fox
Carrie Fox is a professional musician, educator, and entrepreneur who has spent her life mastering the intersection of art and logic. Her journey began at age nine when she fell in love with the oboe, eventually leading her to study under Martha Scherer-Alfee and earn a full music scholarship to Louisiana State University. There, she completed her Bachelor’s in Music Performance under Dr. Mark Ostoich. She also received a full scholarship to attend the Brevard Music Center Summer Institute where she studied with Dr. Eric Ohlsson.
Carrie’s musical excellence paved the way for her business career; she utilized oboe scholarships to earn her MBA from the University of Central Florida, where she performed with the UCF Symphony Orchestra and studied with Janet Mascaro.
Today, Carrie balances a vibrant creative and analytical life. While she remains an active freelance performer and oboe instructor on the Treasure Coast, she is also the founder of Fox Tutoring Solutions. Through her company, she leverages her MBA and analytical background to tutor math students virtually across the globe. Carrie lives in Jensen Beach with her husband, Matt, and their son, Alex.
