Kristina Costello
Kristina Costello is a Florida-based soprano, celebrated for her resonant voice, effortless high notes, versatility, and magnetic stage presence. Equally at home in opera, oratorio, musical theater, and contemporary works, she brings stories to life through a wide-ranging repertoire—and often enjoys adding a personal touch by accompanying herself on ukulele.
A familiar presence in Martin County’s arts scene, Kristina has performed at the Martin County Fair, with the Treasure Coast Community Singers, in concert series, and at community outreach events. She is a sought-after concert soloist, cantor, and freelance performer throughout South Florida.
Kristina has premiered leading roles in contemporary operas in Pittsburgh and has earned recognition in national competitions, including the Laffont Competition and Worldvision Opera Contest. She was awarded the Michael Mayes Award at the 2020 Death by Aria Competition in Utah. Her opera and concert credits include Carmina Burana, Mass of the Children, and roles such as Despina (Così fan tutte), Romilda (Serse), Constance (Dialogues des Carmélites), Almirena (Rinaldo), Madame Goldentrill (The Impresario), Zémire (Zémire et Azor), and Flora (The Turn of the Screw).
Kristina holds degrees from the New England Conservatory and Carnegie Mellon University and runs a private music studio in Stuart, FL.
