Lisa Renee Ludlum
Gallery 36 director /photographer, Lisa Renee Ludlum shares, “My lens is an extension of my eye and my camera is a window into my soul.” “Beauty surrounds us, yet the fine details are often missed. With my camera, I zoom-in and bring “life in focus” – in turn, receiving great joy from sharing my images through the magic of photography. Nature is a gift, a symphony, a true living masterpiece in progress–always awaiting the grand finale. Photography suspends moments in time. It creates an infinite thumbprint of our present –yet a parallel visual key to our past – to leave a lasting gift for the generations of our future”.
Lisa is a master composer of her art, while preserving the natural essence and beauty of her imagery. Extremely diverse in her subject matter, Lisa’s strongest passions are her intimate connection with nature, the compositional techniques of photography and especially the visual drama of macro photography.
An award-winning photographer – whose work has nationally been presented in exhibits, museums, and galleries, as well as other publications and advertising mediums. Lisa strongly believes in “giving back” to her community. She works with area schools, participates in a business mentoring/education internship program, serves on the Executive Board of the Audubon Society, is a member of both the Martin & Palm Beach Arts Councils, Local Chambers of Commerce, Downtown Business Association, Downtown Mainstreet, TCBA, Palm Beach Photographic Centre (PBPC) local museums, organizations and Florida Professional Photographers as well as an active member of the PPA: Professional Photographers of America.
Lisa’s photography training is extensive – having worked with numerous Internationally recognized Master Photographers, commercial photographers, photography authors, Nikon Ambassadors, Nikon School, Nikon Tours & Photo-shoots, Professors of Photography, IRSC. Lisa’s greatest mentor is an International award-winning Master Photographer & National Geographic Photographer. Lisa continues her education through conferences, workshops, photo tours, lectures, and anything that allows growing opportunities.
She is always ready to learn something new and always on the lookout for the next exciting capture, such as a Florida Swallowtail laying it’s tiny eggs on a tangled pipe vine or the amazing wonder of the serenade of a pod of dolphins playing in the mystic moonlight. (both magical experiences she treasures) Whatever it may be… it is always an adventure to share through her art.
