Pat Hoshino

Pat Hoshino is a Long Island and Florida artist who started working in watercolors and instantly fell in love with the medium. She eventually started painting in oils because she wanted to add more vibrant color and paint larger works.

She is realistic painter who paints anything that excites her, whether it be flowers, landscapes, seascapes, wildlife, and people. Most of her landscapes and seascapes are of New England (especially Maine), Long Island and Florida. Her mission is to capture light and color and share the passion she feels for her subjects.

After moving to Florida in 2005 Pat became involved in a community birding group. She lives on a rookery with thousands of birds which come in each night and leave each morning. It was only natural to start photographing and painting this amazing wildlife. She feels honored to be able to portray God’s wonders all around us.

Pat was an artist member of the National Art League in Douglaston New York and has participated in many local and national shows on Long Island, including an exhibit at Saks Fifth Avenue. She maintains a studio in Palm City.
