Susan Clifford
A native of Syracuse, NY, commenced her career producing original wildlife representation on eggshells in ceramic media. Her work has been marketed at the Christmas Shop at Disney World; the Christmas Shop in Williamsburg, VA; the Hutch Decoy Shop at Baltimore, Maryland waterfront and many other recognised locations.
Susan’s art has extended to her activity in watercolor, acrylic, pen and ink, and encaustic
mediums. To enhance her natural ability she has studied with Hall Groat known internationally for the Child of the Year stamp for UNICEF; with Hans Junga renowned for his presentation of St. Lawrence scenes; and locally with the Lighthouse Gallery group.
Her work has been juried into several local shows at the Lighthouse Gallery and the Court House Cultural Center Gallery. Her work has been juried into the New York State Fair Wildlife exhibit; the Wehle Competition at Genesee Country Museum for Ducks Unlimited and several other venues. Presented at St. Lawrence River Wildlife Show, her work was always in great demand.
Susan has worked with the Adult Daycare Group at the Kane Center Council on Aging, has worked with the childrens’ program at the Elliott Museum and at the Mariner Sands Chapel.
Susan’s work is available through commission arrangement in addition to several works done in response to her personal urge.
