Into the Creative Unconscious: Dreams, Imagination, & More
This is the final event in this series at the Day. Night. Dream exhibition at the Martin Arts Court House Cultural Center! The dream-like art of Rachel Tribble creates the perfect setting for a journey into your own creative unconscious.
Join Laura for an experiential journey to explore:
A brief (and very incomplete!) overview of the Jungian perspective of psyche, soma (body) and the language of the unconscious
An introduction to dreams and how to create a personal practice with them
Embodied active imagination practices through movement, art and writing
Ideas on creating a relationship with your own creative unconscious
This workshop will include a combination of lecture/discussion, accessible movement, and art/journaling practices. All supplies are included (or you can bring your own journal if you prefer). Feel free to bring a mat/cushion if you'd like to sit on the floor, or chairs are available. If you have a dream you'd like to work with, please bring that as well!
