Featuring pianist and MartinArts Awards award recipient Tom Servinsky

Tom Servinsky enjoys a multi-faceted career as an internationally recognized concert piano technician, musician, conductor, and composer. Early on, he had always desired to be a full-time symphony musicians as a clarinetist. Unfortunately, the route didn’t pan out as expected early on. So, onto another avenue he went. This time enrolling at the Chautauqua Institute to learn the art of piano technology, and that put the wheels in motion for an exciting career that has taken him around the world. His musical development ended up playing an important role in understanding the musical quality that pianos must have for the serious pianist. Today, Tom is responsible for concert prep for the pianos at 5 concert halls, 2 recording studios, and a long list of high level artists.
Slowly but surely, the music performance side regained momentum as eventually he found a nice career as clarinetist in the Atlantic Classical Orchestra, as well as subbing with several other of the S. Florida orchestras and opera companies. After 33yrs with the ACO, Tom retired last year as a clarinetist, and now turns the majority of his focus to jazz piano. That has been a long quest of his and now those wheels are in motion for this next chapter in his musical life.

Tom is the house pianist for the Sailfish Point Country Club, as well as being called for numerous events throughout S. Florida. Additionally, Tom remains the managing conductor of the Treasure Coast Youth Symphony, a post he passionately devotes his energy to. Inspiring and directing the young developing musician is still one of his greatest interests. Seeing young minds respond to the power of orchestral music is an amazing experience. Tom is in his 25yr. with the Treasure Coast Youth Symphony, as we all being the director and conductor of the Academy Orchestra, which is still one of the only working pro-am orchestras catering towards young musicians performing in professional settings.
