Robbins Music
Michael Robbins is one of the top music educators on Florida’s Treasure Coast. With a degree in Music Education from Missouri State University, he has taught K–12 band, choir, and general music in public schools and has led students of all ages to reach their musical potential.
Michael is the founder and owner of Robbins Music School now in its ninth year in downtown Stuart. Under his leadership the school has taught hundreds of children and adults through a unique small group piano program that blends classical technique, modern technology, and game-based learning for faster progress and more fun.
As curriculum director, he continually refines and improves his program so every student can build confidence, skills, and friendships in class. His iPad enabled piano lab is the only one of its kind on the Treasure Coast allowing students to enjoy interactive tech-driven lessons and group performance opportunities throughout the year.
In addition to his work at Robbins Music School, Michael has directed 18 musicals as well as multiple choirs, concert bands, and orchestras.
He is also the founder and conductor of the Florida Rock Orchestra, bringing high level music experiences to local audiences.
Michael’s passion for teaching, his deep experience, and his innovative approach have earned him recognition including Stuart Magazine’s 2019 “40 Under 40.” He is proud to be known not just as a teacher, but as a mentor who helps students discover the joy of making music and develop skills that last a lifetime.
