Human Nature - Back to the Sound of Motown
It all began with four friends in high school. More than two decades ago, brothers Andrew and Mike Tierney and their friends, Phil Burton and Toby Atlas, formed an Australian boy band, 4Trax. Distinctive harmonies caught the attention of Sony Music Australia’s CEO and after they performed an acappella version of “People Get Ready,” they were signed to a contract on the spot. They changed the band’s name to Human Nature and the rest, as they say, is history. Since signing with Sony Australia, Human Nature has released 13 studio albums, four of which went to No. 1 in Australia. They have garnered 27 awards, 19 Top 40 singles, and five Top hits worldwide, and have sold more than 2.5 million albums in Australia alone. In 2005, Human Nature turned its attention to the music of Motown with the album Reach Out: The Motown Record.
