Nancy K. Turrell
Nancy has served as the executive director since April 1999. She graduated from New York University with a B.A. in Marketing and from St. Mary’s University, Winona MN with a M.A. in Philanthropy & Development. As an avid member of the audience, rather than an artist herself, she is an advocate for growing current audiences and promoting programs that help the cultural community build for the future. During her tenure, she has had the opportunity to see many enhancements to the cultural community and to oversee a wide variety of projects that benefit the arts community, including the creation of a women’s giving circle to provide grants to the arts sector. Mrs. Turrell served on the Florida Council for Arts and Culture from 2017-2020.
