93 Percent Stardust
We have calcium in our bones, iron in our veins, carbon in our souls, and nitrogen in our brains.93 percent stardust, with our souls made of flames, we are all just stars that have people names.

Nikita Gill…..British-Indian poet

After completing her Bachelor of Fine Arts (photography) in 1994 at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, Christine began working in the darkroom as an independent, fine art photographer. Her twenty years of working in the darkroom hand coloring silver prints gave her an abundance of experiences with many awards, multiple gallery representation , art venues, and pieces added to museum collections.

In approximately 2013, she left the darkroom behind and entered into the possibilities of creating in the digital era of photography.

She began participating in a niche art movement termed, Mobile Photography. The tools allowed to create images in Mobile Photography are: a smartphone as camera, applications, and a tablet for editing. Because Mobile Photography became a global world when social media sites were dedicated to it, her award winning artwork has had a global presence in, Canada, Italy, France, UK and Spain.

Her image making changed from minimalism and mundane objects during her darkroom years to now include figures. Those figures live somewhere between our Earth and the stars.
