Entry Form | 3rd Annual Members Showcase

MartinArts invites member artists to participate in the 3rd Annual Members Showcase.  Works will be exhibited at the Court House Cultural Center from July 9 – August 31, 2024. 

Gallery Location and Hours 

  • Court House Cultural Center, 80 E Ocean Blvd., Stuart, Florida 34994 | 772-287-6676
  • Gallery hours are Tuesday 10AM–6PM | Wednesday–Saturday, 10AM–4PM

Important dates

  • Entry deadline: June 1 or until exhibit is at capacity.
  • Delivery of artwork: June 24-26, between 1PM–4PM
  • Opening Reception: Friday, July 12, 5:30– 7PM
  • Pick up artwork: September 3, between 1PM–4PM. MartinArts will not be responsible for unclaimed artwork after this date.  Artist may send a representative for pick up but must notify by phone or email by August 31.

Eligibility for Entry

  • MUST be a current, returning, or new member of MartinArts ($35/year) for entire duration of exhibit.
  • New or Renewing Member Artists can complete membership details HERE.
  • Limited to 2 entries per Member Artist or until exhibit is at capacity. 
  • No entry fee but we do ask that all participating artists consider donating a small original piece of artwork to be used as part of a fundraiser for arts programs.

Conditions

  • A 25% donation benefiting MartinArts will be deducted from all sales. Please price accordingly.
  • No withdrawals of work permitted before the close of the exhibition.
  • MartinArts reserves the right to refuse an artwork if the work is improperly framed or wired, under glass, misrepresented, and/or for any other reason is deemed inappropriate.
  • MartinArts reserves the right to use any accepted image for promotional purposes.
  • All donated works become property of MartinArts.

The purpose of an Artist Statement is to give viewers information about the artist or artwork, include details about your future and goals. Be creative and inventive. Write in the first person. Talk about the who, what, when, where and how. Discuss why you chose this particular medium, why you love making art, what is the piece about -- deeper meanings that might not be obvious. Be honest and passionate about yourself and what you say with your art. Statements will be presented with your artwork.
