Entry Form | 3rd Annual Members Showcase

MartinArts invites member artists to participate in the 3rd Annual Members Showcase.  Works will be exhibited at the Court House Cultural Center from July 9 – August 31, 2024.

  • Gallery hours are Tuesday 10AM–6PM | Wednesday–Saturday, 10AM–4PM

Important dates

  • Entry deadline: June 1 or until exhibit is at capacity.
  • Opening Reception: Friday, July 12, 5:30– 7PM
  • Pick up artwork: September 3, between 1PM–4PM. MartinArts will not be responsible for unclaimed artwork after this date.  Artist may send a representative for pick up but must notify by phone or email by August 31.

Eligibility for Entry

  • MUST be a current, returning, or new member of MartinArts ($35/year) for entire duration of exhibit.
  • New or Renewing Member Artists can complete membership details HERE.
  • Limited to 1 entry per Member Artist or until exhibit is at capacity. 
  • No entry fee but we do ask that all participating artists create and donate original “mini” piece of artwork in any medium or theme on a canvas provided by MartinArts.  All donated pieces will be installed as part of the exhibit to be used as a fundraiser for arts programs. Pick up details for “mini” canvas will be provided after entry has been received.

Want to exhibit your work? Here are the details!

  • 2D work:
    • Maximum framed width to be no larger than 48". o    Larger pieces may be allowed with approval.
    • Work must be dry, framed OR on appropriate substrate, and properly wired to hang 3” from the top of the frame with NO toothed brackets, NO staples showing on sides, and NO clip style frames.  Framed works are accepted; framing is not required.
    • 2D works must be framed with Plexi-glass only, NO glass.
  • 3D work:
    • Limited to 70 lbs maximum weight. 
    • Artists submitting installations may be asked to participate in its installation.
  • All work must be an original concept created in all media that has been completed in the last 36 months and not previously exhibited at the Court House Cultural Center, The Elliott Museum, The Palm Room, or any other local art exhibit within 50 miles.  No editions, prints, or giclees will be accepted.  Giclees will be accepted in photography only.
  • Label back of each artwork with artist’s name and title.
  • Photos of work are requested at time of registration to use for marketing purposes.

Conditions

  • A 25% donation benefiting MartinArts will be deducted from all sales. Please price accordingly.
  • Artists are encouraged to price their work for sale; however, work may be tagged “NFS” (Not for sale).
  • No withdrawals of work permitted before the close of the exhibition.
  • MartinArts reserves the right to refuse an artwork if the work is improperly framed or wired, under glass, misrepresented, and/or for any other reason is deemed inappropriate.
  • MartinArts reserves the right to use any accepted image for promotional purposes.
  • All donated works become property of MartinArts.
